The Transcultural Dialogues are Alain Daniélou Foundation’s online cultural journal, embodying the Foundation’s interdisciplinary and creative spirit. They have crystallized gradually, first as an expanded version of the former Newsletter “Indialogues” – from informative texts or anecdotic stories to longer, more elaborate essays and dossiers – soon to become an independent project with high-quality articles on the different dimensions of Indian culture, unknown aspects of our European heritage, Alain Daniélou’s thought, combined with quality visuals.
The Transcultural Dialogues are in consonance with Alain Daniélou’s spirit: while the style is not scholarly, they aim at intellectual solidity. Instead of focusing on a scientific pattern of specialization, their relational attitude and singular open-mindedness combines music, literature, philosophy, Indology, history of religion, etc.
